That being said, an EKG has nothing to do with fitness tracking and to lose step stair counting in it's place, you can't really argue for a greater price. The newer ones will probably come with it pre-installed. If you have an older Charge 5, you will be prompted for the update.
However, now the Charge 5 comes with EKG functionality, but still no step stair counter. In fact, at launch, the Charge 5 had less functionality than the 4 (they removed the step stair counter).
