For example First and Last quarter moons would be 90 and 270 degrees from the sun respectively. It should only be 180 degrees from the sun when its full, all other phases would be different. The moon should change position in reference to the sun based on the phase of the moon.
The other thing that has always bugged me about minecraft in general is that the position of the moon relative to the sun is static, yet the moon has phases. its about the same size as the sun, I think it would look better if the moon were say 75% of the size that it is right now.Īlso the aurora thing is a great idea, but it should only be on nights where the moon is less than one quarter(half the moon showing) the rest of the time the moon would be too bright.
